En effet, Contaminant = produit ajouté artificiellement à un milieu. Polluant = contaminant ayant un effet néfaste sur le milieu. Un polluant est donc aussi un contaminant mais je ne pense pas que cela fasse l'objet d'ambiguïtés au concours. En revanche, un contaminant n'est pas toujours un polluant.
