Hello,

 

Par sa très grande quantité, le sodium est responsable de la moitié de l'osmolarité du LEC. L'osmolarité étant une concentration, puisqu'il y a grosso modo majoritairement du Na+ et du Cl- dans le LEC (3/4 de l'osmolarité), on peut approcher la valeur de l'osmolarité par 2 fois la concentration en Na+.
