Solution ledba Posted March 20, 2023 Solution Posted March 20, 2023 j'arrive pas a mettre ma fiche en pièce mais voici ce qu'il y avait marqué dessus si ça peut t'aider 10 major systems responsible for the body functions : - Skeletal* - Muscular* - Cardiovascular* - Nervous* - Endocrine - Lymphatic - Respiratory - Digestive - Urinary - Reproductive *create an infrastructure that facilitates the other systems and allows 3 other systems to regulate the body’s environment (endocrine, lymphatic and urinary systems) ● Skeleton system. Framework of over 200 bones. . Hold the body together. . Give it shape. . Protect organs and tissues. . Provide anchor points for the muscular system. ● Muscular system. 3 types of muscles : skeletal, smooth and cardiac. . Found throughout the body. . Facilitate movement. ● Cardiovascular system (circulatory). A pipeline that includes the heart, blood vessels and the blood itself. . It delivers: oxygen, white blood cells, hormones and nutrients throughout the body. ● Nervous system. A communication network of nerve cells to transmit information and coordinate bodily functions. . It comprises the brain (hub of sensory and intellectual activity), the spinal cord and many cranial nerves and spinal nerves that emanate from them. ● Endocrine system. A series of glands that use information carried by the nervous system to help regulate the body’s processes. . Thanks to the nervous connection, endocrine glands such as the thyroid gland are aware of the amount of hormones and other chemicals they need to produce. These chemicals are then distributed by way of the cardiovascular system. ● Lymphatic system (immune system). A collection of lymph nodes and vessels that help regulate the body’s defences. . It uses neural pathways to transmit information about affected areas of the body and then sends out healing agents like white blood cells and the other bloodstream. ● Urinary system (renal system). Includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra. . Maintains electrolytes level. . Filters waste from the blood. . The waste is sent through the blood vessels, into the kidneys and then is expelled as urine. All of these systems require energy to function. ● Respiratory system. A group of passageways and organs that extracts life-giving oxygen from the air we breathe. . Air enters the body through nasal cavities, travels down the throat and is then transported to the lungs. They extract oxygen for the body to use and expel a carbon dioxide by-product when we exhale. ● Digestive system. Approximately 30-foot series of organs. . Converts food into fuel. . Food enters the system through the mouth, then moves into the oesophagus, the stomach and in the intestines. Nutrients are absorbed into the body while solid waste is expelled through the anal canal, the end of the digestive tract. ● Reproductive system . Creating life. . The primary organs involved differ between the sexes : ovaries, Fallopian tubes, the uterus and vagina found in women ; testes and a sperm channel found in men. . Together, fertilisation may occur, organ systems form and then a child is born. ClotildesansH 1 Quote

LeBoss and marineee 1 1 Quote
